Catherine Hardwicke, who previously directed an episode of AMC's
Hell on Wheels, will head back to television with the pilot of CBS' legal drama
Reckless. According to
Deadline,
Reckless is "a sultry legal show set in Charleston, South Carolina where Jamie, a Yankee litigator, and Roy, a Southern City Attorney, struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal."
Joining Hardwicke is
Twilight and
Plush star Cam Gigandet as Roy and Michael Gladis (
Mad Men) as the Chief of Police.
Reckless is executive produced by Ian Sander and Kim Moses (
Ghost Whisperer).
Three new cast members were announced this week (3/9), including Georgina Haig as Lee Anne, police officer in Charleston PD, Kim Wayans as Vi, Jamie's paralegal, and Shawn Hatosy as Trey, a police detective.
